About Me
Hi I am 45 Years old and i have been programming ASP based sites for about 4 years now. I have been playing with computers in some form since i was 18 when i got a Sinclair ZX81, then upgraded to a Spectrum and eventually a QL. Then i went big time and got a Commodore Amiga 500 which finally led me to the PC's.
I started using PC's as a tool for Video Wall programming, then i went on a government sponsored IT course where i first started to use Office Applications, Word, Excel and Access. Since then I have been an IT Trainer and IT Support for our local Hospital, Then i went on to Training people for IT Qualifications like CLAIT and ECDL.
I am currently a carer for my son who has special needs, so i have spare time during the day when he is at school when i play around with ASP and web sites, hence i am on the forum quite a bit during the day.
My Experience
My main experience is in office applications like word and excel, on the programming side I have dabbled with Visual Basic and once I did an interactive multimedia display for Thetford Forest Visitors Centre.
My web design and programming has really been in the last 4 years, I started just playing around with my own site in pure HTML, but then decided to start using ASP when I wanted a login system for my site.
Since then I have created several Fully ASP driven sites with database back ends and I am now playing with this site.
My Family
I am currently engaged but due to get married at the end of this year in Antigua. Scratch that, I am now married and my partner wife and myself have one child a boy aged 11 and my partner wife has two girls from a previous marriage, although they don't live with us as one is married and the other has her own flat.

The pool we used to have in the garden.
My son on the pool replacement, a 13 foot trampoline. with the British weather he gets more use out of the trampoline than the pool.
My Office, well actually the spare bedroom but locally it's called the office. to the right of the desk are the two servers, far right is the web server/media server and also the SQL server. nearest the desk is a server running SAM Broadcaster running my radio station. Just under the desk you can see my desktop Dell and of course ASP Free on the main monitor. I will take another picture when i can be bothered to tidy up a bit.
